A busy, lifeguarded stretch of the Golden Mile between the central beaches and uShaka, known as a good spot for beginner surfers. The wide promenade in front is ideal for walking, cycling and people-watching, with piers, cafes and ice cream vendors along the way.
Insider tip: Hire bikes on the promenade and ride to uShaka, swimming only between the flags.
