Salt Rock & Sheffield
A quieter stretch of coast just north of Salt Rock, with rocky ledges, rock pools and plenty of shells to hunt for at low tide. It feels far less built-up than Ballito's main beaches, which makes it a lovely spot for a long walk or a slow morning with a flask of coffee.
Insider tip: Time your visit for low tide to explore the rock pools, and wear reef shoes because the rocks are sharp.
