Salt Rock Main Beach

A long, flat beach that opens up beautifully at low tide, with rock pools at either end and the historic Salt Rock Hotel overlooking the sand. It holds Blue Flag status for the 2025/2026 season, has lifeguards and shark nets, and is popular for swimming, stand-up paddling and early walks.
Insider tip: Park near the Salt Rock Shopping Centre and walk down, then finish with lunch overlooking the sea at the hotel.
